Core Competencies

Lucinda Brown has over 15 years of experience in marketing, technology, and desktop publishing. She has helped companies connect with their customers through a combination of creative and technical know-how. Trillamar provides excellent value to clients by providing a broad range of marketing services at competitive rates.

Lucinda’s undergraduate degree from Princeton is in engineering, as is her graduate degree from Stanford. Consequently, she is particularly effective in developing marketing tools for technology products and services. She has direct hands-on skills in programming web languages such as php, C, JavaScript, and Visual Basic.

Despite her technical education, Brown and her team of creatives and programmers focus on projects in the marketing communications realm. She was first exposed to desktop publishing in 1990, when she helped publish a nationally acclaimed high school yearbook! Today, her professional calling is to build attractive and effective marketing tools through inexpensive technology-based media.

Background

Brown’s first technical position was a summer internship at Siemens in Berlin as a software developer. She then worked as a water resources engineer and web developer at CH2M Hill in California. This work resulted in an invitation from iMediation, a software developer in Paris , to join their marketing team to build technology-based marketing assets. While at iMediation, she received a crash course in marketing while the company grew from 40 employees to over 150 and expanded globally.

After iMediation, Brown worked at Secos, a security software company, and then at Scalable Network Technologies, where she continues to consult today. In 2003, she formed her own consulting firm to deliver top bang-for-the-buck marketing services to customers in a broad range of industries.

Today, she helps people achieve more in less time, with greater business benefit; she puts companies on the map, helping them define and expand out their web presence through crisp and targeted communications and automated sales and marketing.
